  1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using [CUWeb], a web-based software development and deployment platform (“Service”), you (“User”) agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please do not use the Service.

  2. Definitions

    • “User Content” means any source code, files or content written or uploaded by the User to the Service.
    • “Platform IP” means the proprietary software, infrastructure, design, tools and related intellectual property used to provide the Service.
    • “Personal Information” means any information that identifies you as a natural person (e.g. your email address)—subject to the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the SPDI Rules, 2011 in force today, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) once it becomes operative.
  3. Eligibility & Account Registration

    • You must be at least 18 years old.
    • To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, and for all activity under your account.
  4. Subscriptions & Payment

    • Our Service is provided on a subscription basis. Details of pricing, renewal, trial, payment terms, refunds, and cancellation are available on the official website.
    • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
    • We reserve the right to modify fees, with advance notice as required by law.
  5. License Grant & Restrictions

    • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform solely as intended for building, storing, and managing your own code.
    • You may not, directly or indirectly, copy, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works of the Platform.
  6. Intellectual Property

    • You retain ownership of your code and content in all your material — User Content belongs to you. As between you and us, you own all rights in it. However, you grant us a license to store, operate, and back up your User Content purely to provide the Service to you.
    • Platform IP belongs exclusively to us. You agree that nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our software, documentation, or systems to you.
  7. User Obligations & Acceptable Use

    • You agree not to use the Service to host code or data that is illegal, harmful, infringes others’ rights, or violates applicable laws.
    • You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws related to what you upload.
  8. Privacy & Data Protection

    • We collect and process your email address and User Content per our Privacy Policy, including compliance obligations under:
      • The IT Act, 2000 and SPDI Rules, 2011, under which email is considered “personal information” (but not “sensitive personal data”).
      • The DPDP Act, 2023, which is pending enforcement but already establishes principles (consent, access, correction, erasure, grievance rights) that we follow proactively.

    • Cross-border data transfers are permitted subject to compliance with applicable rules and reasonable safeguards.
  9. Term & Termination

    • This Agreement starts when you first register and remains in effect until terminated.
    • You may terminate your subscription at any time by cancelling through the dashboard; after termination, your access ceases but we may retain your User Content for audit or compliance purposes.
    • We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. No refund shall be provided in such cases.
  10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We expressly disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.

  11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages. Our total cumulative liability arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid in the prior 2 months.

  12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against all liabilities, claims, losses, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or any violation of these Terms.

  13. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you in advance, and continued use of the Service after changes implies your acceptance.

    • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.
